EulerStream

EulerStream calls itself a third party TikTok LIVE API for developers and enterprises. Its main product is a managed WebSocket API that streams real time events from a live room: comments, gifts, joins, likes and more. It also offers REST routes documented on its site, including room info, user data, the gift gallery, bulk live checks, rankings, leaderboards, moderation tools and LIVE alerts, plus a CAPTCHA service.

EulerStream also provides request signing. TikTok requires signed URLs to open a connection to a live room, and the popular open source library TikTok-Live-Connector delegates that signing to the Euler Stream sign server, with an API key to raise the limits. EulerStream maintains SDKs for several languages, including Node.js, Python, C#, Java, Go and Rust.

Its strength is reliable, low level access to live rooms at scale, so developers do not have to keep up with TikTok's protocol changes themselves.

RnG TikTok LIVE API

The RnG TikTok LIVE API is a REST API with an npm package, @rngrow/sdk, and public docs at /api-docs. It is included with Radar. Instead of raw room events, it returns the results of RnG's own work: TikTok LIVE scanned 24/7 per country, every creator checked against TikTok LIVE Backstage for whether they are free to join an agency, LIVE league boards from A1 to D5 with availability per creator, daily and gaming rankings, league dropouts, HOT NOW (diamonds spiking), top gifters per country and live checks.

The same data powers the Radar dashboard, Auto Messenger and the AI Recruiter, so a creator network can use it with or without writing code.

The simplest way to see the difference is to ask what question each API answers.

EulerStream answers: what is happening in this live room right now? Who sent which gift, what did viewers write, how many people are watching? To get there, it handles the hard technical part of talking to TikTok, including signing and keeping connections alive. What you build on top is up to you.

RnG answers: which creators should my creator network contact today? That needs much more than one room. It needs every LIVE creator in a country, their diamonds over time, their league position, and a check against TikTok LIVE Backstage to see whether they can be invited. RnG does that work continuously and gives you the result.

You could build an agency scouting system on EulerStream, but you would still need to discover creators across a whole country, store history, build country-wide boards and add the Backstage availability check yourself.

Pricing models

EulerStream publishes its plans on its pricing page. At the time of writing there is a free Community plan with daily request and WebSocket limits, a Business plan at 50 USD a month with higher limits and a short free trial, and custom Enterprise plans. Some features, including TikTok LIVE signature access, are listed as add ons. Check their pricing page for current limits.

When to choose EulerStream

A creator network with developers could use the RnG API to decide who to recruit, then use EulerStream to watch a shortlisted creator's live room in real time, for example to see how their gifters behave during battles. Or a network could use EulerStream to power overlays and alerts for its signed creators, and RnG for scouting, recruiting and coaching. Neither replaces the other.

Only for some jobs. If you want agency data, such as creators free to join, league boards and rankings, RnG gives it to you ready made. If you need real time room events or request signing for your own app, EulerStream is the tool for that.

Which TikTok LIVE API shows creators who are free to join an agency?
