BetterTok Alternative: Free TikTok LIVE Auctions, Games, Polls and Overlays With No Creator Plan
BetterTok locks auctions, games and premium themes behind a 9.99 USD Creator plan and caps the free tier at 5 alerts. RnGrow Stream Tools has all of it free, no caps.
BetterTok is a good looking tool, and its free tier is honest about what it is: 5 actions and events, 5 sound alerts, 150 browser voice messages a day, classic overlay themes. The parts creators actually want, live auctions, games, every overlay theme and unlimited voice, sit in the Creator plan at 9.99 USD a month or 99.99 USD a year. If you want those without the subscription, RnGrow Stream Tools has them free.
What you get free on RnGrow that BetterTok sells
- Live auctions. Coin match: gifts are bids, the top three show on screen, a bid in the last seconds extends the clock so nobody can snipe. Throne king: a gift above your minimum takes the throne and restarts the timer.
- Gift duel. Two viewers step into the ring, gifts and likes are hits, HP bars drain, KO for the loser, points for the winner.
- Gift poll. Up to four answers; viewers vote with the gift named after each answer or by typing it. Live bars, winner highlighted.
- Giveaway, guess the number, Spin Royale, gift challenge. All started from the Try it tab with one button, all paying points to winners.
- VIP entrance. Top gifters, subscribers and moderators get a cinematic entrance and pick their own style with !entrance fire, royal, neon, hearts, storm or gold, or with an animated creature: !entrance lion, phoenix, whale or crystal-whale. The choice is remembered across streams.
- Every overlay theme. Five looks per widget plus your own colours and font, saved on your account.
- Unlimited alerts, sounds and voice. No daily counter.

What BetterTok has that RnGrow does not
AI voices. BetterTok's Creator plan includes more than a hundred AI voices; RnGrow uses the voices built into your browser or phone, which are free and unlimited but sound like a browser. BetterTok also imports TikFinity export files; on RnGrow you rebuild your rules, which takes about ten minutes with the starter rules.
How to switch in ten minutes
- Sign in at rngrow.com/tools (Google works) and type your TikTok @name in Setup.
- Install the rngrow extension (Chrome, Edge, Brave) or the RnGrow Live app for Windows or Mac from the download page. It pairs by itself.
- Alerts: press the starter rules (Any gift, New follower, Every 100 likes), then add your own. Upload your sounds.
- Overlays: add the widgets you had before, copy the link of screen 1, and replace the old browser source in OBS or LIVE Studio.
- Try it: send a test gift. If it shows on your scene, you are done.
