How to Add TikTok LIVE Gift Alerts and Overlays to OBS for Free (2026)

OBS can show anything a web page can show. That is how every TikTok LIVE alert tool works: you add one browser source with a link, and the tool draws alerts, goals and games on it. This guide does it with RnGrow Stream Tools, which is free with no caps, in about ten minutes.

Before you start

• OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop on Windows or Mac.
• A free account at rngrow.com/tools. Google sign-in takes thirty seconds.
• Your TikTok @name, the one after the @, not your display name.

Step 1: connect your TikTok

Open Setup, type your @name and press Connect. Then install one of two things so your PC can read your LIVE: the rngrow extension for Chrome, Edge or Brave, or the RnGrow Live app for Windows and Mac, both on the download page. They pair by themselves; the Setup page turns green when they do. No TikTok password is involved: the extension or app watches your own LIVE the way a viewer does.

Step 2: make your first alerts

In Alerts, press the three starter rules: Any gift, New follower, Every 100 likes. Each one shows an alert and plays a sound. Open any rule to change the text, add text-to-speech, give points or add to a goal. Press Test on a rule and it plays right there on the page.

Step 3: add the browser source in OBS

1. Open Overlays. Screen 1 already has an alert box; add a goal bar or a gift feed if you like and drag them into place.
2. Press Copy link.
3. In OBS: Sources, the plus button, Browser. Paste the link. Width 1920, height 1080. Tick Control audio via OBS so sounds and voice go into your stream.
4. Drag the source above your camera in the sources list.

Step 4: test before you go live

Open Try it and press Gift. The alert shows on your OBS scene and the sound plays. Press Follow, Likes, Chat too. When you are live, real gifts do the same.

Sound not coming through?

Check that Control audio via OBS is ticked on the browser source and that the source is unmuted in the audio mixer. Voice uses a server voice inside OBS, so it works even where browser voices do not.
