TikTok LIVE Alerts From Your Phone, No PC Needed (Free)
Streaming from the TikTok app? Get gift alerts and text-to-speech on your phone with nothing to install, and overlays if a PC is nearby. Free, no caps.
Most creators stream from the TikTok app on a phone, not from OBS. Alert tools were built for PCs, so phone creators either hear nothing or pay for a mobile app with a daily voice cap. RnGrow Stream Tools has a phone mode that is free and needs no install.
Phone only, nothing installed
- Create a free account at rngrow.com/tools on your phone and type your TikTok @name in Setup. No TikTok password.
- That is the whole setup. When you go live, our server reads your LIVE and your alerts fire.
- Open the Phone page (Phone tab, Copy link, open it in your phone's browser) and press Start. Alerts and voice play through the phone speaker and your microphone picks them up.
What plays: gift alerts with the viewer's name, text-to-speech of chat and gifts, your own sounds, goal milestones. There is no daily limit.
Phone stream with a PC nearby
If a laptop sits next to you, keep the rngrow extension or the RnGrow Live app open on it (both free, from the download page). Your LIVE is read by your own PC, and you can also open an overlay screen on the laptop to see the gift feed, top gifters and goals while you stream.
Want the overlay on the stream itself?
The TikTok app cannot show browser overlays on top of the camera. For on-screen alerts you need TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS on a computer: guides for LIVE Studio and OBS. Phone mode gives you the sound and the voice, which is what viewers react to.
Tips
- Turn the phone's media volume up and keep the Phone page in the foreground, or use a second phone for it.
- Set text-to-speech to read gifts above a few diamonds only, so a busy chat does not talk over you.
- Points and chat commands work on phone streams too: viewers type !points and the chatbot answers.
Everything is free at rngrow.com/stream-tools, with no caps on alerts or voice messages.
